Ron Egherman, Owner / Realtor®

Ron Egherman joined forces with Todd Hodson in March 2005 in a partnership in their real estate business, as well a running a very successful brokerage together with Todd and his wife Marion Henon.

With a Bachelor of Architecture from UC Berkeley, he was licensed in California and practiced architecture for over seven years. His projects included residential homes, both new construction and renovations, branch banks and art museums.

The museum work soon had him change roles from the architect to the client, focusing on planning, marketing, public relations, publishing, finance and management, and embarking Ron on an art museum career spanning nearly 18 years serving at several of the Bay Area's most prestigious museums.

Ron's fine sense of design and creativity now help his clients buy and sell residential property. His wide body of knowledge and skills are put to good use on a daily basis. Whether representing sellers or buyers of luxury homes or those making first-time purchases, his dedication is unwavering.

Through two decades of volunteering, he has demonstrated his devotion to our East Bay community. He currently serves on the non-profit boards of the KALA Institute and the West Contra Costa County Education Fund.  He is also Chairman of the City of El Cerrito’s Environmental Quality Committee.  Previously, he was President (2006) of the Berkeley Association of Realtors (BAR) during which time he created the Youth, Arts & Education Fund.  He also was an active Board member of the California Association of Realtors. In the 1990’s he was elected to the Kensington Fire District, serving as president, and also was president of the Berkeley Conservatory Ballet and created the Kensington After School Enrichment Program.

For fun and relaxation, Ron skis, camps and fishes, golfs and hangs out with his dog. Ron's popularity among his clients could also be attributed to his penchant for making delicious and unusual handcrafted ales and lagers ~ a gold medal can't be far away!

In his 18+ years selling residential real estate, Ron has consistently been one of the area's most successful Realtors. Working from Oakland to Berkeley, in Piedmont, Kensington and El Cerrito, buying and selling lots from under one hundred thousand dollars to multi-million dollar homes, Ron loves his work and it shows!
