Bill Grimason, Realtor®

     Bill graduated from De Anza High School in Richmond/El Sobrante, earned his BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his Teaching Credential from Hayward State.  Bill was owner/operator of the first exclusive Mo-Ped store in Northern California (MO-PED CITY) in Walnut Creek in 1976 and opened a second store in Berkeley the next year. In 1977 he bought his first house and the fascination with real estate began.

     Bill obtained his real estate license in 1979 and began working as a Realtor in the Elmwood district of Berkeley that year. The two retail stores were sold in 1979 and 1980 and all his energy went into the exciting new world of real estate, where he represented clients buying and selling houses, apartment buildings, TICs, condominiums, land, commercial buildings, leases, even business opportunities. Bill worked at Mason-McDuffie Real Estate in Berkeley from 1983 until 1996 and at RE/MAX on Solano Ave. in Berkeley from 1996 to 2009, where he focused on residential sales including resales of existing homes as well as new construction, condo conversion projects and new live/work loft projects. He was a member of the President’s Club at RE/MAX and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award in the Berkeley office in 2005.

     Bill was excited to be affiliated with the new Marvin Gardens office on Hopkins Street in Berkeley in his 30^th year as a member of the Berkeley Association of Realtors. When not working in real estate, Bill enjoys playing piano and hiking. He recently performed at a benefit for U.S. military veterans at the VA hospital in Martinez.
